Job Title: Magento Developer
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Magento Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Magento 2 development, customization, and optimization. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving e-commerce websites, ensuring smooth performance, security, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Magento Development & Customization: Develop and customize Magento 2 themes, modules, and extensions.
- Performance Optimization: Improve website speed, database performance, and overall site functionality.
- API Integration: Connect third-party services (Payment Gateways, Shipping, CRM, ERP, etc.).
- Bug Fixing & Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to Magento functionality, database errors, and front-end/back-end performance.
- Security & Updates: Ensure regular security patches, updates, and Magento version upgrades.
- Collaboration: Work closely with designers, marketers, and other developers to enhance the website experience.
- Custom Features Development: Implement custom features and functionalities based on business needs.
- SEO Optimization: Ensure best practices for Magento SEO, URL structure, and meta tags.Â
Required Technical Skills & Qualifications:
- Magento 2 Development – Strong experience in Magento 2, including theme and module development.
- PHP & MySQL – Proficiency in PHP and MySQL database management.
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery – Strong frontend skills for customization.
- REST & GraphQL APIs – Experience in integrating third-party APIs.
- Magento Extensions & Customization – Ability to customize and develop Magento extensions.
- Performance Optimization – Experience in caching strategies (Redis, Varnish), database indexing, and reducing load time.
- Security Best Practices – Understanding of Magento security, PCI compliance, and data protection.
- Version Control (Git, Bitbucket) – Experience in using Git for source control.
- Server & Deployment Knowledge – Understanding of Linux servers, Nginx, Apache, and cloud hosting (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.).Â
